I figured it out! I will break down important tasks into smaller tasks with concrete description of what accomplishing each task looks like. This is the way to beat procrastination.
I'm still on a quest to find the cure to my procrastinate. It's hard because this human problem is so complex and has been around for thousands of years. It's humbling to know that other people who are more famous, more efficient, more productive and successful than me experience procrastination.
I may have forgotten to mention but, basically, I stopped updating my productivebee.com site. I got busy with my day job as a college counselor at my new college. I also kinda paused a little bit from updating my prep4disaster.com online store. I need to figure out how to create an email marketing sequence. My day job is front-and-center at this time.
Hopefully I can find a way to balance my various interest. I know it's up to me. And I know it's about setting boundaries and deadlines with the things I have to do throughout the day. Like, I will decide to write a blog for 30 minutes and 30 minutes only, or review the counseling documents for an hour each day and only an hour each day. Easier said than done of course. But it's for my future.
I also have live to the fullest at the present moment. I have to enjoy my time with my loved ones because today is not coming back and tomorrow is another day. Man, life is so complicated.
Hi. I'm Kent and this is my blog. Let me know what you think.
